Privacy policy
Commander Tracker is a free Android app that keeps life totals and counters for Magic: The Gathering. This policy explains what data the app and this website use.
Who we are
Commander Tracker is developed by Carlos Vergara P. (UI and design) and Diego Valdés O. (development), who are responsible for this policy. For any question, write to us:
What the app collects and why
Only published versions of the app send technical data to Google through two Firebase services, to measure usage and fix errors:
- Firebase Analytics: usage events, the Firebase installation ID (a random code per installation, not your name or email) and device and app information.
- Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports and diagnostic data, such as device model, Android version and app version.
- Your games and settings are saved only on your phone. When you shake it to undo a change, the app uses the motion sensor, and that reading is processed only on the device.
Who processes the data
Google (Firebase) processes the data as a service provider on our behalf, encrypted in transit. We use it only to measure usage and fix crashes. More information:
Retention and your choices
According to Firebase, Crashlytics keeps crash data and its identifiers for 90 days. Firebase Analytics data is kept according to the periods Google documents for Firebase.
- To ask for deletion of the data tied to your installation, write to the contact email.
- Uninstalling the app stops all collection.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
